Common issues

Start with the customer-facing flow. If a customer cannot book, call, or understand the site, fix that first.

My domain still shows my old website

Check DNS for conflicting old records. Common causes:
  • Old website A records are still present.
  • www points to the old host.
  • Browser or DNS cache has not expired yet.
  • The custom domain has not been added to the hosting project.

My booking page blocks a valid customer

Check:
  • The customer’s address spelling
  • Your service-area boundary
  • Whether out-of-zone bookings are set to warn or block
  • Whether the service is available for that area

Customers are confused by SMS

Make sure the message says:
  • Business name
  • Reason for the message
  • Next step
  • How to reply or opt out when required

My website copy feels generic

Use concrete service language. Instead of:
We provide quality property solutions.
Use:
Weekly lawn mowing, spring cleanups, and snow removal in the east metro.
