Quotes help turn requests into approved work.

## What a quote should include

A clear quote usually includes:

* Customer name
* Service address
* Scope of work
* Line items
* Photos, if helpful
* Taxes or fees
* Expiration date
* Signature or approval step

## Keep scope clear

Write the scope in plain language. Customers should understand what is included and what is not.

Example:

> Replace existing 100 amp panel with 200 amp panel. Includes labor, standard materials, permit coordination, and cleanup. Does not include drywall repair or utility-side upgrades.

## From quote to job

Once a customer approves a quote, use the same customer and job details to avoid retyping and mistakes.
